Itinerary
Day 1 : Bangalore-Mysore (By Road-145 Kilometres)Sightseeing
Upon arriving at the Bangalore Airport, meet our representative, after welcome, proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Bangalore. The prime tourist attractions to visit include Lal Bagh Botanical Garden, Cubbon Park, Bangalore Palace, and Bannerghatta National Park. Later in the day also visit VidhanSoudha, a colonial building which is home to the secretariat and the legislature as well as also houses a bull temple in its compound.
After the sightseeing tour of Bangalore, drive straight to Mysore.On the way visit Srirangapatna- the capital of Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan. Visit Tipu's Palace that is now in ruins, Gumbaz- the burial chamber of Tipu Sultan, his father Haider Ali and mother Fatima Begum and lastly, Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace is also known as DariyaDaulat Palace.
Once reach Mysore, check-in to your pre-booked hotel. Have dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 : Mysore-Coorg(By Road-110 Kilometres)Sightseeing
Post breakfast; explore the Maharaja Palace, also known as Mysore Palace or the Amba Vilas Palace - official residence of Wodeyars, the royal family of Mysore. Afterwards, visit the Nandi or Bull temple at the Chamundi Hills- a temple dedicated to Nandi (Bull), the vehicle of Lord Shiva.
Later drive to Coorg. It is also known as Kodagu, located in the south-west part of Karnataka bordering Kerala. It is one of the most popular hill station of Karnataka, situated on the Western Ghats which is known for coffee and its ethnic warriors.
Once you reach there, you check- in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure, you can explore for the stunning surroundings of the town. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 : Coorg Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing tour in Coorg, visit the coffee plantations, and the orchards. Apart from this also visit the Fort on top of a hill that overlooks the town. Apart from this you will also visit the major attractions of the town such as Nalnad Palace, Madikeri Fort, Omkareshwara Temple, Cauvery Nisargadhama etc. Halt for a lunch break at one of the city hotels. Then set off to visit Gaddige, it is one of the most popular historical monument in the town. Also visit Talacauvery, it is renowned pilgrimage centre but also for the natural beauty sprinkled around the place.
Return to the hotel in the evening. Have your dinner. Overnight in your hotel room.
Day 4 : Coorg-Bangalore (By Road-268 Kilometres)
